It gives me immense pleasure to write about Kinnari Cultural Center, Near Tata Gardens, Bhulabai Desai Road. Founded in 1970, by Late Mrs Kusum Chatrapati, a freedom fighter and an active social worker. Located in the heart of the city, Kinnari is a platform that provide the kids to develop their hobbies and interests. The aim is to promote welfare of women and children. Providing aid to the underprivileged children for education, is truly speaking duty of all learned citizens. The surplus generated from the cultural activities is used to provide fees for needy school children and medical help to needy person. Kinnari provides us an opportunity to reach to the underprivileged children and ensure that they get the education much needed to come up as a successful and responsible citizen.
It is since I visited Kinnari, I got an insight as to how we can really be of some help to the needy by contributing mimimum portion of our income. Happiness that comes from giving can be felt only by self experience. Let us all make a united effort to take this cause forward. Thanks to Kinnari!!!!!
